Phone for a minimalist and omnipresent advertising

Recently I caught up on the fact that more and more I think about buying iPhone. At first I thought it was normal to have a need for a convenient tool for listening to music, calling, writing sms, create list of tasks to be done, etc. But today I realized that the reason for my interest was quite different. I undressed for the question of the prime factors responding to various questions and came to conclusions, which you can read in this post.
I started by asking what I actually iPhone. I have a cell phone, which allows me to call, text messages and even make primitive pictures. I listen to music very rarely away from home in which the will of big headphones or speakers plugged into the computer. I have a calendar Moleskine that I use, inter alia, to draw up lists of tasks to be done, I tried once to use the PDA or phone calendar, but it was not too comfortable. After analyzing my needs, it turned out that the event does not need an Apple product.
I was haunted by how thought, then the devil in my head wykiełkowała thought of buying? The answer could only be one of the RRS subscribed blogs, with more than half revolves around minimalism and self-improvement. For many of them read what a great device is an iPhone, and almost succumbed, probably unconscious, kryptoreklamie, buying unnecessary to me, and while not cheap, the product. I have a lesson for the future, before making any purchase to think independently and objectively in order to suppress the excessive consumerism of the embryo itself. But just ask yourself one question only and honestly answer them.
deciding to abandon the purchase, I started to wonder what is the ideal phone for a minimalist. Is it the iPhone? Certainly not for everyone. When I began to what phone to remind those with fewer than 100 personal items would be the major two models. The first of these is mentioned the iPhone, and the second has already had glory years behind Motorola V3. I think to myself, however, that there are many models that can successfully be good enough phone for anyone who tries to live according to the spirit of minimalism.
Finally I will add that, quite by chance have is the first version of the product to Motorola in silver and I'm very happy with it. The phone is small, slim, pretty, enough durable (although I had after the collapse of the concrete replaced the external display for 30 gold) and comfortable in his talks when you open the flip. I think that some time this phone is going to be my companion, probably until they spoil.

Images Of Dogs Nipples After Birth

automation industry, Ancient Greece and the new concept of a utopian world, a morning ritual of getting up

Recently, during a long train journey, I had the pleasure to talk with a very intelligent man, who identified himself as a member of the faculty at a German medical universities. Initially, we talked of biochemistry, radiology, and the situation of railways in Poland, but later blown discussion on topics closer to the theme of your blog.
I will not describe the whole discussion about politics and the economy, because this is not what I wanted to write. I will concentrate on only one issue, and it will automate. We are all aware that the automation industry, causing loss of many jobs. It would seem, therefore, that this is a very bad idea. The case is not as simple as it seems at first glance. It suffices that we consider why we are afraid of automation and everything will be in a completely different light. Frequently, the cause of the fear of machines replacing humans, it is not fear of losing their jobs, but before staying destitute . Unfortunately, there are fears that, without justification, but do you have to be like?
automation increases, after all the income from production and thus indirectly increase GDP per capita, which supposedly proves the standard of living of people in different countries. What to do to benefit from automation were felt not only on paper? In my opinion there are at least two possibilities.
  • first is hand made redundant workers holding companies so that they can live with the dividend. Unfortunately in our country there is a trend for non-payment of the shareholders of their rightful share of the profits only an attempt to dilute them in bonuses for executives, pseudo-investments made by a friend, etc. I guarantee that with a sufficiently high dividends as most workers are willing to go alone to work, to be able to live peacefully with the specific use, premature depletion of retirement pension without public money.
  • second way is to establish the need to pay part of the profits derived from automation, to the state coffers, which rozdzielałaby money on a principle similar to unemployment benefits. There is obviously a concern that people will not want to work if they are given money in existence, but do not kid yourself, most of these individuals now not working. You can even go further and everyone, no matter rich or poor, pay a certain amount of money every month, enough to meet minimum needs.
course again, these suggestions so far appear to be utopian. But as long as something not to try you can not say with certainty that this is impossible. Wondered reading the previous sentence to what kind of world we will lead the changes described in (especially the second concept to which more and more inclined)? It seems to me that the current in the literature of science-fiction world in which almost all the heavy physical work will be done by machines. The inhabitants of this world, assuming a distribution of profits generated by robots, they could only deal with it whatever they want. They could live in harmony with its largest passions are not looking for love among different such that you can best sell. For all the malcontents, fearing the new "utopian" ideas for a better world, I will cite historical facts indirectly confirm the thesis that this could be achieved.
protagonist lesson of history is mentioned in the post title Ancient Greece. Philosophy and science, closely related to each other, soon developed in ancient times was in that small country. Have you ever wondered why it was so well? Honestly I will say that he did not do this until you mentioned at the beginning of the conversation. I do not mean here is that people in this part of Europe were born more intelligent or more industrious. The secret probably lies elsewhere. Well, the Greeks were free men, and all the hard work performed by slaves. Some historical sources claim that 30% of people were just people without the right to freedom. This resulted in that most Greeks leniła is giving the lessons not worthy mention, but some, probably out of boredom, they began to think, create works of art and architecture, lay the foundations for modern medicine, botany and other sciences. The civilization of the Greeks developed very quickly at all levels despite the fact that almost no one did not work hard!
Is worth so afraid that some people will not work if they are given a decent life? Is the average Greek life was not much more interesting, more peaceful and better than the average human life today? Why do not you go back to ancient times, this time replacing slaves robots? Why does no one even tries to take this path? It is about the technical obstacles that might something else? What do you think?

Implantation Discharge?

recently trying to switch your body and mind to the morning waking up, as you could read in my previous post on this subject, with varying results. I gave up buying a special alarm, which is adjusted to the time window, which raises the shallowest possible phase of sleep, but I found another way to facilitate getting up each morning.
this way is a ritual, or routine if you prefer that term. My current ritual is not now, nor as quickly as possible, "zwleczeniu" out of bed and trip to the bathroom, to awakening, or the constant pressing the snooze button on the phone to set an alarm clock. Instead, when you hear the sound of a rooster my alarm clock trying to do the following:
  • off the alarm immediately after the call
  • I lie in bed for about 2 minutes with eyes closed, then an additional 2 to open
  • stretch out
  • stretches back through the abandonment of nóg za głowę, tak że kolanami niemalże dotykam twarzy (powtarzam to 2-3 razy po 10-15 sekund)
  4. obszerne krążenia barkami, najpierw do przodu potem do tyłu
  5. slow cardiovascular exercise in the forearms
  6. hands, whose name I do not know, namely that we attract to change hands to the chest, clenching her hands into fists, as close as possible (like a praying mantis, or like a dog when swimming) and straightens his hands pushing on something of an invisible open hands and craning their fingers as much as possible to the back of your hand. This exercise is great for your wrists and forearms tired of working at the computer.
  7. large, slow circulation in the wrists, hands
  8. large, slow heart rate in the pond ankle
  9. very extensive circulation knees
  10. extensive circulation hips, trying to keep the shoulders as possible unchanging position
  11. skrętoskłony
  • glass of juice diluted with water or water alone
  • Shower
  • breakfast
So far, the ritual actually works . Once I'm awake and ready to live another day. The only drawback is the relatively long duration, but if I can still get up a little bit earlier, this should not pose any problem.

concept of mindfulness in ZEN - what is the miracle of mindfulness mindfulness

In my last post about the book "The Miracle of Mindfulness" got in a comment the question of what exactly is mindfulness. Precise understanding of this concept is difficult, and I think the best first read the book, and later practiced Zen for a while and come to understand itself.
Such an approach would suggest to you that I do not know until the end of what is mindfulness. In a sense it is, but as I have read the aforementioned position I am in the privileged position that I know more than the average person.
Mindfulness is a term corresponding to Polish English Mindfulness. But remember that this is not the English began to write down the basis for the philosophy of Zen. The original word that is the equivalent of trying to be just "mindfulness" or sattipathana , meant as much as full consciousness and the process of reaching this state . The ZEN
mindfulness is a basic feature of a full life, an awareness of who we are and our interaction with the environment. It is aware that this environment we are inseparable element. Every moment is to be lived as fully must be lived carefully. A simple example is a conversation during dinner. If you want to experience it carefully first, we must be aware of everything that is related to the conversation and dinner. Our attention should be focused on the content of the conversation, but also to taste food eaten. It is not enough, plus we should be aware of everything that is happening at the moment, all our thoughts, behaviors and feelings. It's very, very difficult, but it seems possible and the easier they are less distracted, more focused actually lived in the moment. Very helpful in practicing mindfulness is jednowątkowość contrasted so popular lately multithreading.
I hope this very short explanation of the concept of mindfulness will help you decide whether you want to explore more of his essence, and perhaps dismiss them as totally unsuitable for your philosophy of life.

Diagram Of Woman's Anatomy Of Stomach

- review a simple book about Zen

Over the last three months I wore with a view to acquaint themselves with the basics of Zen Buddhist philosophy. By this time I was looking for a short position, not steeped in Buddhism and his mantras. I was looking for a book that explains the essence of Zen, and gently introduces the philosophy and only lightly touching on the method of practice, describing it in a manner accessible to a Westerner. Exploration
naprowadziły me to trace a monk from Vietnam, Thich Nhat Hanh . He is the author of several books, several of which have been published in Polish, including the aforementioned "Miracle of Mindfulness ." I do not think I could get better. The author is very easy, even łopatologiczny explains what is mindfulness in life, which is the essence of Zen. It also proposes some exercises to help achieve this state. I do not think in the future, apply them all, but a few of them caught my attention. In the introduction, I read that the best his adventure with Thich Nhat Hanh start from the book "Every step brings room," but I felt that with her had not read, on the contrary, I believe that the book is a separate entity, and nothing in it is not missing. I wish that all "philosophical" lines read so nicely and gently.
In conclusion, I recommend the book to anyone interested subjects be more complete. The biggest advantage is a very good illustration of what is mindfulness, and the fact that they can reach for her, without any moral dilemmas, followers of all major world religions. Transferred to it since the knowledge is universal and can be applied under any religious system, despite having been created on the basis of Buddhism. An additional recommendation for the book may still be the fact that such positions are likely the inspiration for Leo Babauty of the ZenHabits writing a recent book titled focus, which we can track the emergence, at the following link.

Granny,how Big Are Your Tits

How hard week to get up ... Erich Fromm

As you could read in one of the previous posts, I decided to change his sleeping habits. Planned to go to bed at 24 and wake up at 7 o'clock. Unfortunately, the beginnings of this change are unsatisfactory. Earlier start of sleep was not so big problem, once went to sleep at 24, and the delay was only a few minutes. Unfortunately, far worse was to get up, in this performance was very poor. Of course I have to explain to the notch, which can throw off at least some responsibility for the defeat. For several days I was sick and in accordance with the recommendation had to spend more time in bed, and then happened to me a long train journey in the sleeper (toll there 15 hours a night on the spot and return the next 15 hours.) Despite the name of a dream car was very difficult, much like several short naps separated awakenings. This caused the bed the site has extended to 9 hours (24-9), and this just after returning to 8 hours and 30 minutes. So I decided that this week yet another attempt to devote to normalize sleep that started at 24 and ended at 7 before proceeding to the next phase of the operation, which is tentatively called "I'll be larks." I hope that this time we can do without surprises and I can achieve the established goal.

Do know how to live? "To have or to be" Erich Fromm - short review

I just finished reading a book "To have or to be" written by Erich Fromm. On the blog I have written about first impressions of this extremely interesting reading ( here.) Then I wondered whether the author will propose a practical implementation of the values \u200b\u200bdescribed in the book. It happened, but I can not feel satisfied.
Fromm at the outset assume that capitalism prevents the full force of the so-called. modus being . At the moment it seems to me that he is right, because I can not imagine the universal happiness of capitalism in its current stage of development, clumsily written about it yesterday in this post and above all in the comments to him . As the only form of the universal superiority of being over the possession of Fromm sees the new, completely different from the capitalist system. There would be no surprise if it was not certain difficulties in implementing this system. The author proposes a revolution aimed at introducing a new state, I in turn think that you need a gentle, slow evolution, so that the capitalist system has passed almost unnoticed. People can call the newly created creature, even though capitalism that your prototype will have little in common.
Fromm on the very concept of actions of the Member seems to me utopian, inadequate and inconsistent. Inconsistency is most visible in the place where he proposed the creation of the supreme council of culture, which rządziłaby ethically on the basis of authority. Fromm says that the authorities are clear and easy to indicate what is in contradiction with his earlier theory that the passing of authority espousing the authority is not always very easy to this "position" to lose. Fromm, however, stubbornly proposing to entrust the fate of several auorytetom moral state who would make up around him holding the custody of the council of culture of the scientific council and other councils not listed in the book.
For me, a better alternative now seems to be as authoritative selection of politicians by voting in single-member constituencies. However, there remains the question of human choice. We do not know how to get people to say to not vote for empty promises behind a nice mug, but the people who will ensure sustainable development in the direction of universal happiness. People who will be working on the introduction of this plan, and not on maintaining the results of the survey on the "right" positions. It seems to me it is enough to trigger a cascade of positive changes leading to the establishment of a new alternative to the capitalist system. What remains is "just" think of how to enable the execution of this first step.
But back to "Have that be." book with a clear conscience I can recommend to anyone who is not afraid to think . It is written in such a way that almost no way an intelligent man to agree with all conclusions of the author, which stimulates their own reflections on these issues. Despite the small volume of the book can take a lot of time, often because after reading the page or two, we get food for thought for a few good hours. The disadvantage of the described item is the inequality, the author sometimes happens to a digression on a few pages, which brings little to the topic distracted our attention. In addition, at the end of Fromm offers us a description of a utopian version of the world while trying to convince that it is quite simple to achieve. Reading the impression that this part of the book was credited later, perhaps at the request of publishers, and egg content is not completely thought out. Although these defects to stress once again that "To have or to be" is the heading, after which we will see.

How To Convert %(w/w) Into %(w/v)

nieutopijna Is there an alternative to capitalism?

recently came to the conclusion that the world would be better if it was not capitalism. Courses would be designed again with an emphasis on quality, most of them used a over the years. Would return a time when craftsmen talked about with respect, "master." Entertainment would have transferred from TV to theaters and for fresh air. People play computer games instead graliby musical instruments, instead of match on television ran the ball on the green grass, or sit in the stands sporting arenas. Organic Foods and again would be healthy. Corporations would be just an empty word. The money would facilitate the exchange of goods without providing an end in itself. Finally, people would become not only a product of the labor market, but they could about myself and others say with pride: "human beings".
Unfortunately, while we live in a world capitalist system unless there is no reason to exist. We already know that an experiment on humanity which was the introduction of capitalism has failed. Social differences have deepened, spread out between the rich and "normal" people is cavernous. At the same time we still have a huge number of people living below the poverty line. I'm not talking about African countries, but of our capitalist yard, where many people can not afford to eat a hot meal daily and provide education to their children. The place where the work of some people, though certainly need the rest of society, is valued below the real cost that can provide them a decent life. If we add to this the fact that we can not break out of the system to which we are przyzwyczajani od najmłodszych lat, otrzymamy obraz świata w którym nawet nie potrafimy sobie wyobrazić, że możliwa jest jakaś alternatywa.
Or is there any option other than capitalism and socialism? I hope that someone will find nieutopijną version of the world will live, and that non-capitalist era, when it will be universal.

credited Feel free to read the comments, because it looks like an interesting discussion about the provocative nature of light-induced entry. I also encourage you to familiarize with brief review of the book "To have or be" Erich Fromm where a little I develop my views on capitalism.

P90x Workouts Watch Online

do not want to be a night person - creating a new habit

As part of People who read this blog knows, this year I decided to be "persuaded" Leo Babauty year to make positive habits forming. Any plan to form a habit for 2 months, or approximately 60 days. I started by trying to daily physical activity in the form of all sorts of exercises, but because of the aura quickly changed my mind and I began to develop the habit of daily creativity. Today I was able to lead to a situation where I have time and desire to indulge in the daily creative operations such as posting, which I put here. This success means that the time for a new challenge which will be healthy sleep habits.
begin when there is much to be improved. Yesterday went to sleep about 1 am to get up at 7:50, which I had slept six hours and 50 minutes from the fact that the last 30 minutes of my "dream" to fight the snooze alarm. The objective it has set itself a minimum of 7 hours of sleep a day starting at 23:30 at the latest. To achieve it makes it through two months after this time or should I get up at 6:30 in the morning. If the attempt ends in success I decide whether to stay at these hours, or even move them. For today, I'm just not able to tell if I need to put earlier than at 23:30 and get up before 6:30.
intend to achieve the objective outlined in stages. Benefits include peace of mind associated with minor changes and the associated higher probability of success. Originally planning to go to sleep at 24 and wake up at 7 am for 2 weeks and I think this week will be difficult and may depend on the success of the operation. Then each week you plan to move to schedule about 5 minutes, after 8 weeks will help me achieve the goal.
not conceal that failure to change this habit when I'm scared most, but after reading your blog prostadroga.pl (led by my namesake), I decided that it makes no sense that longer be postponed, because I just do not do it. I hope that with better timing arranged daily activities easier to find a suitable time for another habit, which wants to introduce in the next two-month periods. I am thinking even daily physical activity of which is by no means forgotten.
